This Road Home is a private modern house created by Guz Architects.
Completed in 2012, this present day tropical bungalow is found in Singapore, and as with most of Guz Architects’ tasks, it integrated nature into the home.

“The consumer, inspired by her visit to Fallingwater, sought out Guz Architects for a tropical interpretation on a tough triangular site with sloping terrain and a narrow entrance.
This house is really significantly in keeping with the spirit of Fallingwater, whose design seamlessly integrates nature into the residence.
Just as Fallingwater’s stair shaped cantilevers emphasized its horizontality, Guz employed the distinct levels to stratify the distinct generations of the loved ones living below 1 roof.”

Laundry Rooms 3
Just look at the different things you can add to a laundry room to jazz it up a bit.
Starting with laundry area storage. I like the way this homeowner has displayed her lovely items and the wallpaper on the inside of this cabinet and lace trim along with it, much like I do in my laundry room.
Bright and sunny, small and compact and perfect!
A little froufrou never hurts either. ;-) Love the ruffled laundry bag, which is available at Urban Outfitters if you're intereted.

Sitting here helping direct people to the department they want to help them with their family history gives me some time to surf and blog. I found the most gorgeous cakes to show you. Some are so amazing I couldn't believe they were actually cakes. Here are just some I'll share with you today.

Yeah, it is a pumpkin cake. Darling, huh?! Oh, the pomegranate and cinnamon are just for color. It had nothing to do with the ingredients of the cake. Can we say 'photo shoots'??
