I had to completely retrain my handwriting style as I learnt incorrectly and the movement came from my wrist instead of my shoulders. I learnt a lot of lettering workouts and I genuinely need to have to commence practising again!

‘Stay Warm’ Fabric Stationery Designs By SUPERMODULE

vinnie ‘Stay Warm’ Fabric Stationery Designs By SUPERMODULE amazing ideas Winter’s frigid hold is not the only reason we’ve cozied up to these uncannily tactile note cards from SUPERMODULE, the San Francisco stationery brand founded by graphic designer David Riofrio. It’s accurate that his Keep Warm series of plaid and houndstooth motifs are particularly evocative this time of year, but its the deep expressiveness of Riofrio’s letterpress compositions—how smartly they fulfill Riofrio’s desire to develop “extensions of the fabrics they mimic”—that impresses us most. That—and, well, what’s not to like about strikingly stunning, skillfully executed graphics that can be applied to most any occasion?

samuel wilkinson babylon faceted stationery dezeen ss Maison Et Objet: Faceted Stationery For Lexon amazing ideas Proving that the market for desktop stationery remains strong is this suite of chunky, colorful utilitarian items the British designer Samuel Wilkinson created for Lexon, and introduced at Maison et Objet earlier this week. The Babylon collection of 6 injection molded plastic items—pen and holder stapler scissors tape dispenser and alarm clock—is distinguished by faceted exterior forms that trace their inspiration to rock formations, of all items. Explained the designer, “We were looking for an distinct surface remedy that could elevate the series and tie all of the objects collectively. Through our research we came across inspiring images of rock strata, such as the The Wave, on the slopes of the Coyote Buttes in Arizona.”

Gorgeous Papers #1

I found these gorgeous papers the other day and thought I'd share them with you. Are they not the loveliest you've ever seen?

For Christmas:

For the lover of antiques.

For the birdhouse lovers, like ME!!! Squeeeeeeal!!!

Two different ones for the Christmas season.

For the lovers of cottage style.

For the roses lover. These are among the most stunning roses I've ever seen on paper. Do you see the little chandelier on the right side? Darling.

This one seems to evoke a french feeling.

More holiday paper.

Ooooh, and when you see something that says #1, a good guess would be that there is, at least, a #2. ;-)
